Our normal launch point is Isle of Palms Marina (50 41st Ave on IOP, SC). On the day of the charter
please park in the 15 minute parking spaces in front of the Fuel Dock. If I am not there to greet you
come down to the fuel dock and I will give you a parking pass and show you where to park. There is
a Ship's Store at the marina that has about anything you might need, including made to order sandwiches.

Depending on what is biting and where we have been fishing we might use Water’s Edge Restaurant
on Shem Creek or Remley’s Point Boat Ramp…both located in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

We can provide pickup from most points in Mt. Pleasant, Sullivan's Island and IOP, so if you are here
on vacation please do not hesitate to ask for pickup if your spouse or friends need your vehicle for the
day. Our charter price includes bottled water. Feel free to bring anything you may want to eat or drink,
we also supply a Yeti cooler with plenty of ice.

All ages and experience levels are welcome. We have successfully landed Charleston redfish over 10
pounds for every age from 7 to 88, patience is usually the deciding factor…age, physical skills and
angling experience is secondary. Expect us to supply all of the equipment and knowledge to help you
hook and land a trophy red.

One question almost every customer asks is “When is the best time of year for inshore fishing in the
Charleston area”. There really is no “best” time. We have caught over 50 fish a day in every month.
On the flip side, we have also caught 1 or 2 fish some days in every month. My personal favorite
months are October through March, which also coincides with most sight fishing days. Also, late
August through late October offer run and gun fishing for cruising low country redfish crushing
shrimp under seagulls (see video). The run and gun is exciting in many ways and a well placed cast
usually results in a mind boggling hookup.

Regardless of what time of year we are fishing the South Carolina Lowcountry, our goal is to provide
an entertaining day by catching fish. Since we are fishing from a flats boat, storage is at a premium.
Back packs, beach bags, etc are not needed...plus there is no place to store them. We provide dry
storage for cameras, keys and personal items. Please let me know in advance if you plan to bring you
own rods & reels.

Feel free to call or email me with any questions or for a current fishing report. Weekday morning low
or high tides are usually the best time for redfish, mainly from a boat traffic standpoint.

Tours of the low country creeks, flats and wildlife are also available for up to 4 people, starting at
$250 for 2 hours.

We encourage release of all Lowcountry Redfish, they are a limited resource.

We recommend Haddrell's Point for all your inshore fishing equipment when you are in Charleston,
just as most fishing guides do .
